Back to School Mental Training: The Mental Game of Writing, One Paragraph at a Time

If you’re a student-athlete, you already understand the idea of breaking something big into smaller pieces. You don’t walk into the weight room and say, “Today I’m going to get stronger.” You have a workout, you have exercises, and you do one set, then another, then another, until those reps add up to something bigger. Writing works the same way. In this episode, part of the Back-to-School Mental Training series, Coach Antoinette shows student-athletes how to take the same approach to writing: breaking big assignments into small, manageable reps so essays and papers stop feeling overwhelming.
