About Antoinette

Been there. Done that.

Sports have played a substantial role in my life for over fifty years.

In addition to being a Certified Mental Performance Coach, I’m a competitive athlete, a coach and head cheerleader to my high performing athletic sons and husband. Whether you’re an athlete, the parent of an athlete, or a coach, I know what you’re thinking because I’ve been in your shoes.

You’re an athlete

I know what’s going on in your head

My first competitive experience came in the form of gymnastics. My goal was to make the 1980 Olympic team, but by 1978, it was clear that my best was simply not going to be good enough. I switched to springboard diving and dove for two years in high school and four years in college. As an adult, I played team tennis for more than a decade until ballroom dancing caught my attention. My husband and I took our first ballroom dance lessons in 2014 and began competing in 2015. Together we have won over seventeen amateur national championship titles and represented Team USA in three world championship events.

Before I realized the value of mental performance training, I struggled with self-doubt, fear of failure, low self-confidence, motivation and performance anxiety, but the good news is you don’t have to. With my guidance you will learn to overcome the obstacles that are holding you back not only because I am a skilled mental performance coach, but also because I’ve been in your shoes! If you’re ready to hit the mental weight room and discover the secrets to unleashing your potential, it’s time to book a free thirty minute virtual session

You’re the parent of an athlete

On the sidelines, but always in the game

From fencing to wrestling to soccer, basketball, and eventually Division 1 baseball, I’ve accumulated more than two decades worth of bleacher surfing at my kids’ practices and sporting events. Whether your child plays for fun or is a serious athlete trying to get to the next level, the emotions you experience are the same. The intensity of the joy we experience when they thrive is matched only by the anguish of helplessly watching them struggle. The most important thing to remember is the journey is theirs, not yours.

If you’re ready to gain clarity on your role as the parent of an athlete and the steps you can take to accelerate your child’s growth on and off the playing field, it’s time to book a free thirty minute session.

Testimonials

My daughter Heather started coaching with Antoinette a few weeks ago and I have already seen improvement in her as an athlete. She has shown improvement with her mental game and quickly recovers when mistakes are made. Antoinette is amazing with athletes. Heather enjoys her coaching sessions and looks forward to having them.

CRYSTAL

Softball Mom & Team Coach

Working with Antoinette is honestly the best thing I have done for myself in years! The techniques, skill, and invaluable tools for helping to “shift” your thinking are unmatched. Her approach is not a “one size fits all.” I’m living proof the process works; and could not be more grateful! I encourage anyone facing whatever challenges to give it a try!

Donna

Competitive Ballroom Dancer

Antoinette probed to help me identify issues which may be keeping me from performing at my best. The coaching sessions with Antoinette were focused, tailored to my needs, and the concepts were usable and easily understood. I have appreciated her experience and expertise.
