Back to School Mental Training : The Highlighting Hack

Have you ever opened your textbook after studying and realized almost the entire page is highlighted? Yellow everywhere, maybe pink, maybe blue, maybe three different colors, and then you close the book and think, “Okay, what am I actually supposed to remember?” The problem is that highlighting isn’t studying. It’s a useful tool, but only if you use it to identify what’s important. In this episode of the Back-to-School Mental Training series, Coach Antoinette shares the Highlighting Hack, a simple way for student-athletes to study smarter and add another tool to their Academic Mental Gym Bag.
